Good acoustical design is the product of innovative thinking, and the application of acoustical materials that are effective and economical. A systems approach is essential, since interacting architectural elements have a profound influence on the overall design. It is therefore beneficial for the acoustical design to be incorporated in the architectural design at an early stage.

My design approach is to work with the client to develop a clear understanding of the unique usage of each space. The design is then based on the appropriate acoustics criteria for that space. Acoustical analysis utilizes the latest techniques, with computer aided design. Full consideration is also given to the visual aesthetics of the space.

My work includes the design of new facilities as well as the renovation of existing spaces.
